Easter morning, we heard Beckett get up so we just layed in bed and listened. We had put eggs outside of his bedroom door and up the stairs so we could hear him quietly picking them up and opening them. He came in our room very excited and then we woke Harlow up so that we could start our hunt. The entire time Beckett was hunting for eggs he kept saying things like, "Oh my gosh!" or "Oh my heck!" or "Look at all these eggs!". It was adorable, he was astounded at how many eggs were hidden and that the easter bunny came. Harlow followed right along, finding eggs and putting them in her basket.
Easter landed on General Conference and so Josh's parents were able to come over and watch the morning session with us. They also did a small egg hunt for the kids.
That afternoon, we went my great uncle Curtis's house in Plain City for a family party. There were lots of kids there this year and they had their big egg hunt out in the field. It's fun to see the traditions I had growing up being passed along to my kids.
We ended the night at the Rackhams, visiting the Stape side. All in all, it was a great day and we couldn't have asked for more!
