Vegas Girls Trip

I just got back from an EPIC girls trip to Vegas. A few months back I texted the girls and asked (okay, more like demanded) that they join me in Vegas to see Britney Spears in concert. Luckily, they obliged and we planned the trip.

We left early, like we met up at 4 a.m. and headed to the airport. We landed in Vegas super early but were lucky enough to check in early at Planet Hollywood. While we were there we did a ton of fun stuff. We ate LOTS of good food (Hash House A-Go-Go, Serendipity, Margaritaville to name a few). We walked on the strip, shopped, went on the High Roller Ferris Wheel (so fun!), layed at the pool, went to the Britney concert, and saw Pitch Perfect 2. Does it get better than that? No.

The Britney concert was AH-MAZING! Totally recommend it. Britney and her dancers were fabulous and the staging was awesome. We had the time of our lives! Here is the rest of our trip in pictures.

Now, don't worry about Josh. He headed to Orangeville for the weekend while I was gone. They had a great time too. Apparently, some people have zebra's down there. Zebra's in Emery County? Why not. They also went fishing and caught 12! The kids loved it. I missed my babies like crazy though! It was so good to see them when I got back.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was so much fun this year. First off all, the night before Mother's Day we had dinner to celebrate my grandma Stapley's birthday. After dinner we went to my parents house and my dad surprised her with a NEW CAR! Her reaction was priceless. It was awesome and I'm so glad we got to be there to see it.

Mother's Day I woke up to a breakfast made by Josh. He celebrated my motherhood by getting me some awesome-sauce Rayban's :) :) That afternoon we went to brunch at the Country Club in Ogden with my side of the family. Delicious food, as always. Mother's Day is always a good one if I get to spend it with family!

Josh passed the WREB!

Woo hoo!!!!!!! Josh passed the WREB! What does that mean? He is basically d-o-n-e. That was his last test he had to pass. Now he has to finish up the month working in the clinic and waiting for June 6th to arrive (graduation day). We couldn't be anymore excited OR proud! Go Josh!

P.S. These pictures were taken at our celebration dinner. It was super fancy.

Beckett: 4 Year Old Update

So what is Beckett like these days? Oh man, he is a ball full of energy and fun. Beckett is started to have less tantrums these days, so that's a huge positive! His imagination is amazing. He can use his imagination and play for hours; especially with his bestie, Elliott.

He loves going to school at Spartan Station. He recently told me that his favorite thing to do there is to sit on the rug and listen to his teachers. His best friends there are Jude & Sam.

At our house, he loves playing with legos, dinosaurs, sing songs (State song is his current fav) and Lincoln logs. His favorite movies & TV shows are Big Hero 6, How to Train Your Dragon, Curious George, Mickey Mouse, and PAW Patrol.

Outside, he loves to play on his new tramp, ride his bike, and play in our sandbox.

He loves his sister and also loves to tease her! He is so much fun to be around and we couldn't love him anymore. Love you Beckett!

Beckett's 4th Birthday

I can't believe my baby boy is 4! His birthday didn't go exactly as planned because we dealt with some pretty wet weather. The morning of his birthday we opened presents, the big one being a new trampoline. He loved it and jumped on it as soon as he discovered it set up in the backyard. He went to school in the morning and they celebrated there. Josh & I picked him up for a birthday lunch and then we headed to the zoo. We saw the new dinosaur exhibit at the zoo with B LOVED (of course). Dustin & Liz were able to meet up with us at the zoo which made it a lot more fun. After about the hour we got caught in a major rainstorm. We were drenched! We got out of there, picked up his birthday cake, and saddled up for his birthday party.

We planned on doing his party outside, but the weather didn't cooperate so we moved it indoors. We had cake, did a piƱata, and opened presents. I think Beckett had a fabulous day!
