Ogden's Christmas Village

Growing up, we went to Ogden's Christmas Village a few times and decided to take the kids this year. We met up with my side of the family at a DELISH Italian restaurant. Afterwards, we went and walked around the park to see the houses lit up and the lights. They even had a little train you could ride. It was a lot of fun and cool to see our kids doing what I did as a kid!

Christmas Fun

Christmas is a million times more fun with kids! We've done a lot of fun things to bring the Christmas cheer into our house. The first is Spy, our elf. Beckett has had a lot of fun finding him every morning.
We made some Christmas playdough. You can't go wrong with that.
Grammy Stapley got the kids some cute Christmas pj's.

...and some more fun: shopping, ward party, and meeting santa (Harlow wasn't a fan of that activity-kicked and cried!)

It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Well, we finally had a BIG snow storm! We didn't have any big ones last year so this was fun. Beckett has been DYING to sled and build a snowman so he couldn't be happier. Harlow hasn't ever really experienced the snow and she dove right in. She played in the snow for about 1 1/2 hours even though the snow was up to her waist. They loved it so much that they played well into the night when it was dark outside. Josh got home from work with new sleds, it was dark outside but that didn't stop any of them! I was just happy they were able to play and get their energy out :)

Temple Square

It just doesn't feel like Christmas until we go see the lights at Temple Square. We've done it every year since Beckett was born and it's magical (and busy!) every time. We also made a stop to look at the candy windows at Macy's. Part of Josh's family was in town so we were able to meet up with them at Temple Square as well.

Christmas+Temple Square+Family=Perfection!

Thanksgiving 2015

This year it was our year to go to Orangeville for Thanksgiving. We had a blast and kept pretty busy while we were there.

We started of Thanksgiving right with a 5k in Huntington. This is our 3rd or 4th time doing it and one things for sure-it's always really cold!

We had a great Thanksgiving feast. The food was delicious! That night we split up. Half the group went and saw The Good Dinosaur and the other half did some Black Friday shopping. Everybody wins!

We did other fun activities like skeet shooting, made gingerbread houses, 4-wheeled, and relaxed.

Family Outings

We've had to find alternative activities since it's been FREEZING outside. Josh was able to join us on a few. Once to the zoo, and another time to the Aquarium. Both were a lot of fun! The kids are happy if animals are involved in any shape or size. Especially Harlow, she is our devoted animal lover.

Fall Family Pictures

We got family pictures taken last week and I just got them back. Eeeek! So fun. We took them at Tibble Fork Reservoir in American Fork. It was gorgeous there! My friend from drill, Ashley Eliza Photography, took them for it. Here are a few of my favorites!
