6th Wedding Anniversary

Last Friday, September 25th was our 6th wedding anniversary. We did some fun stuff this year to celebrate. We started off the day nice and early in Park City (by Canyons Resort) and went horseback riding. It was so much fun! It was the perfect fall morning-not too hot, not too cold. I loved it and totally want to do it every year.

That night, we headed out for a night on the town. We went to Ruths Chris for dinner (delish!) and then walked around temple square afterwards. It was a fun night to be out and about downtown because Comic Con was going and there was great people watching.

This isn't really about our anniversary but it was part of our weekend. We went to the circus! It was the first time for the kids and they LOVED it. When the show started, Harlow didn't take her eyes off of it for at least the first 45 minutes. There favorites were the animal acts of course-elephants, camels, tigers, and then the lady that shot out of the cannon. On the way there Beckett said, "I'm so excited!" about a bajillion times. It lived up to his expectations!

a few firsts...

Beckett had his first day of preschool. He goes to Little Owl Preschool with his bestie, Elliot.

We went to the farm at Thanksgiving Point on Josh's day off. The kids loved it. Harlow can't get enough of those horses!

Josh taught Beckett to ride with no training wheels! He's still working on it, but for his first time he did pretty good. He is hesitant and doesn't trust himself, but if he did (or when he does) he'll be a pro.

Beckett had his first soccer game of the year. He did much better this year! He kicked the ball a few times, but he gets shy! Watch out for those gray wolves!

...and i'll always be Beckett's first kiss :) Watch out ladies! He's a catch!

a farewell & a blessing

We've had our Sundays  booked the last few weeks! First, my cousin Dax had his mission farewell. He is going to Florida (Haitian-creole speaking). They had a nice lunch set up afterwards.

The next Sunday, my nephew Klay had his baby blessing!

End of Summer

Get ready for a long post! We kept busy during the month of August. We soaked up every ounce of sunshine we could get. Here is our time in pictures:

We went up to Park City to see Bree in her horse show.
Enjoyed rides, animals, and lots of unhealthy foods at the Davis County Fair

I had my 10 year high school reunion! I'm so old :(
Celebrated my momma's birthday with balloons, a hike, and cake.

 Days tending Klay.
Enjoyed feeding the ducks at Liberty Park.

Had one last swim at Cherry Hill.

Went to my first REAL game with the girls.
Picked and canned our produce. Our garden did awesome this year!

 ...more fun at Liberty Park.

Checked out the Polynesian Cultural Festival at the park by our house. The keke was delish.

Had a hot date with my bae. Michelangelos and rode the citybikes.

We got a new puppy, Bo! He is about 3 months old now and growing like crazy! He's been a great puppy so far. He loves to chew, play, sleep, and eat!
 Backyard shenanigans.
Taylor Swift 1989 concert! That was one for the books!!

Swiss Days. It's a crafters paradise.
