Halloween 2012

We did a lot of fun stuff this year to celebrate the Halloween season. We started off with a ward halloween party, there was a soup cook-off and the kids got to trick-or-treat. Beckett loved it, he had the candy in his mouth before he got to the second person.

We also went to the Farnival. It was a fundraiser for Primary Childrens Hospital. They had crafts, food, a bake sale, and games. Beckett loooved his balloon.....then he let go of it and was in amazement that it floated away.

We carved our pumpkins.

On actual Halloween we went up to my parent's house, it's the tradition. I found these old leopard leggings I had and bought some cat ears and called it a done deal. Josh put his costume together on his way home from school, he was an 80's rocker.

Beckett loved the real trick-or-treating as well, I thought he might get scared or get sick of it fast but he sure enjoyed himself. Love this booger.

Gardner Village & some camera time.

I think it's safe to say that it's a tradition to go to Gardner Village's Witchfest with the girls every year. I went a few times when I was younger then we started it back up last year after Beckett was born. It was a bit harder this year because Beckett is one energetic boy, but we still had a good time. They have these big, hilarious witches set up all over and Beckett did not like them one bit. We finished with dinner at Archibalds, delish.

We also took some family pictorials the other day. I wanted to catch Beckett at this cute age. We were lucky to get a few where he would sit still....for half a second. On our way back to the car Beckett decided to check out the railing.

Hahahaha, this kid makes me laugh so hard everyday, I love it. Here are some others....

Red Butte's Garden After Dark

This Halloween season we checked out Garden After Dark at Red Butte. They had a lot of stuff set up for kids, tons of arts & crafts, a maze, a haunted forest, pumpkin painting, face painting, etc. It was pretty cold outside but we walked around and checked it all out. Beckett painted his own pumpkin all by himself. Beckett was a little too young for most of it but I think he still had fun. As long as this kid is outside he is having fun!

Pumpkified

We have filled our month of October with everything pumpkin. It's been awesome, especially for Josh, the king of pumpkin lovin'. We went to the Petersen Family Farm in South Jordan this year to pick our pumpkins. I've never been to a pumpkin patch before so i'm glad I finally got to do it. We got some fabo pumpkins, Beckett got a cute one plus 2 tiny pumpkins that he loves throwing around the house. Boys. I have also been conjuring up some pumpkin recipes to satisfy Josh's cravings, the latest was Pumpkin Croissants that we enjoyed while watching conference. Cheers to the holidays:)
