Spring is in the air

Spring is in the air....I can feel it (even though its snowing outside). Here is my latest craft. Yes, I probably will have enough decor/crafts to fill 10 houses by the time i'm 50.

I wanted to give an update on what has been going on with us lately. Beckett had his ear tubes put in today. He was such a trooper! I am so proud of him. He got put under and when he came out he had like no control over his body. It was so sad. He was sleepy for a bit, but woke back up and was his normal self pretty quickly. I have high hopes that these tubes will get him feeling much better. The doctor said he had tons of thick blockage in both ears, so he should be feeling AND hearing much better now.

Here are the other things that have been going on:

Josh has been keeping busy at dental school.

We have gotten some visitors.

You have to have a good naked picture. Good blackmail for later on in life:)

B has been sleeping AND growing like a champ.

Celebrated Vday. Got a pretty necklace. Thanks Josh!

Beckett has been playing with his bucky beaver binky. So funny.

Super Bowl Sunday

We had our annual super bowl sunday party at my parents house. My mom was exhausted from planning my grandparents anniversary party so I helped make some appetizers & desserts. My new hobby is finding new recipes & making them. For dessert I made peanut butter cup brownies, graham cracker cupcakes w/ key lime frosting, & pie sticks. My lucky family got to try them....needless to say they weren't all a hit! haha, thats okay, I was proud of my creations. We had a good time, and as usual ate way too much food.

9 Months Old

Beckett turned 9 months old today! Here is an update on Mr. B:

-20 lbs (50%)

-29 1/2" (90%)

-Crawls everywhere!
-Starting to climb up things...like stairs and our fireplace
-Can stand up and walk around tables/chairs/etc
-Has his 2 top teeth & 2 bottom teeth
-Loves his baby snacks (baby cheetos and cheerios)
-Is starting to eat baby meat but likes fruit a lot more!
-Loves to laugh, he thinks its so funny when he hangs upside down
-Loves to be thrown up into the air or hund upside down by his dad

Beckett is so happy, mellow, and all boy! We love him!

50th Wedding Anniversary

My grandma & grandpa Petersen just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They are the best grandparents ever and we had a awesome time celebrating. Their kids (my mom, Gina, & Shelly) all threw them a huge bash at the Ogden Country Club. Tons and tons of my grandparent's friends came to celebrate with them. There was live music, delicious food, cake, fun pictures, and some toasts. Here are a few pictures of the party, unfortunatley a bunch of them came out blurry....ugh!

Beckett's the best.

Beckett is such a fun baby, I can hardly stand it. He has been cruising and crawling around everywhere lately! His newest obsession is playing with the dog kennel....or anything else in the house besides his toys, figures. He can stand up and walk around things. It's only a matter of time before he starts walking, and rocks our world. He smiles constantly and is such a happy boy. Unfortunately he has had chronic ear infections and has to get tubes put in next week. Thus far he has been a real trooper. We love our baby B!
