My Best Friends Wedding

Well, life has been busy as always. I just finished school last week-finals were rough! Now i'm living with my parents for the next two months while working in SLC, then moving back to Orem in August for school. Josh is still in Orangeville working....we are surviving the long distance thing. No fun! He does come up a lot, and for that I am thankful!!

Last weekend was my best friend, Lauren's, wedding. We threw her a Luau themed wedding shower the week before that and then the wedding festivities took place last Thursday. She looked gorgeous in her wedding dress-Bryce and her couldn't have looked happier. I'm so excited for them! Josh was able to drive up for the wedding reception that night-it only made us more anxious for our big day!

This weekend we're flying to Newport Beach with my family for a vacation-a MUCH needed vacation. I can't wait....

Our Summer So Far...

Well, so much has happened this summer but i've had NO time to write about it! I've been busy slaving my days away with summer school and work ;) It's almost over though....I can feel the freedom!

So our update: Josh and I have had a lot of fun so far, running around from Centerville to Orangeville. A few weekends ago I was able to go down and visit Orangeville. Josh was determined to show be the pretty side of the E.C. (Emery County) and he succeeded. He took me on a tour and boy was it interesting ;) We went bouldering-which for those of you who don't know, is like rock climbing but on a huge boulder.....it was a lot of fun but I definitely wasn't a natural at it. I came back with some scrapped up body parts. After that we went on a fun 4-wheeler ride, and I went fishing for the first REAL time. It was all a ton of fun and Josh never fails to show me a good time.

Other than that we're busy planning the big wedding. Life couldn't be better!

We're Engaged!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the blog of the future Josh & Taylor Sharp! Woo hoo! We got engaged last Saturday-May 23rd and it went a little something like this:

I met Josh up in Logan to spend the weekend with him and to hang out with his family up there. As soon as I got there we went and visited his brothers new house that he is building and then up to second dam. For those of you who don't know....second dam is up the canyon and it's really pretty! There is a boardwalk around the water and cute places to have a picnic. We walked around there for a little while, then chilled out on a bridge that overlooked the water. We were there for a while (later discovering that Josh was stalling). We then left and started walking back along the boardwalk-I got distracted and pulled josh under trees to look at the picnic area when I hear a loud BOOM. I scram, haha, then looked back at these huge fireworks in the air. Josh pulled me by the water to look at them...then when I turned around he was on his knee. I freaked out and so did Josh ;) He dropped half my ring when opening the box, but that adds character to the story, right? haha. He asked me to marry him and of course i said yes! I was freaking out the rest of the night and he couldn't have made me happier! So an insight-the reason he stalled on the bridge is because his brothers were supposed to light the fireworks while we were on the bridge...but their cell phone service wasn't the best. But that all didn't matter....cause it was perfect!

We're gettin' hitched September 25th....ya'll better be there!!
