Odd's and Ends

Before I finish my 2015 posts I have a few odds and ends to fit in:)

Before Christmas we went to the Grand America to see their Christmas windows. The kids had a great time and its an easy and fun activity to do to get out of the house!

Also, our Petersen family in California came in town after Christmas. We had a little party with them. You can't have too many Christmas parties in my book!

GOODBYE 2015! WELCOME 2016!

Orangeville

We headed to Orangeville likes we usually do a few days after Christmas. The first night we were there we opened presents. Harlow was in LOVE with her mini mouse kitchen!

The next day was Josh's 31st birthday. We celebrated with his delicious pancakes for breakfast. We played around that day and then had everyone over for dinner that night. Cannon's birthday is the same day so we got to celebrate both.

On New Years Eve we went up Huntington Canyon to go sledding. It was a little rough for Beckett and Harlow so we didn't stay too long. That night we had a New Years Eve dinner, played games and went to bed :)

Christmas 2015

Christmas was so much fun this year! Beckett was more into santa than he's ever been before. Santa sent an elf to our house, Spy. Spy kept a watch on us and it really helped Beckett to behave himself :) He even got up and immediately made him bed EVERY SINGLE MORNING!

Christmas Eve we went to my parents house with my dads side of the family. We had dinner and played the game 'Heads Up'. It was a funny game to play and we actually played it in Orangeville when we went after Christmas. When we got home from the party, Beckett made sure that we put cookies and carrots our for santa and the reindeer.

Christmas morning the kids woke up at about 8 am. They weren't sure what to think because there were so many toys! Harlow didn't quite understand Santa yet so she didnt' get it, but she did love her new toys! Beckett's favorites were his remote control car, star wars watch, and fort builder. Harlow's favorites were her Barbie baby and mini mouse food set. After looking at our toys and opening presents under the tree we went to my parents house.

We all got more spoiled there. Harlow got her first American Girl baby doll and Beckett got a magnet building set, amongst other things. After my parents house we went to the Rackham's for a minute to visit with Dax on Skype while on his mission.

We ended the night at my grandma's Christmas dinner party. We got spoiled there too! It was a great Christmas and by the time we headed home the kids were exhausted!!

Snooow Fun!

Beckett was waiting and waiting for it to snow this year. He was so excited to go sledding and build a snowman. He got what he wanted! We have made good use of the snow. He's played in it, been sledding, practiced shoveling, made a snowman, and went sledding attached to a 4-wheeler with our neighbors, the Pettingills and in Orangeville.
